Night # 2

While I don't know what this has to do with the rest of the dream this is what I remember first. I am younger, maybe seven or eight. Hayley and I are on the beach. I remember it occurring to me that it is unusual for it to be warm enough to swim at this time of year so I must be spring. When we are swimming Hayley and I dive under water and look around because that is what we've always liked doing. The beach under the water is weird. It is almost comical in the way that it seems to roll - it has mounds and depending on how deep the lower part is the sand changes colour. Than Hayley and I get called back by someone, Don I think, and there is a giant jellyfish swimming around. She warns me not to touch it because it will kill me and we run up the beach to our parent.

I am at Kealin's house. But it isn't really his house and his mom is mad at me for one reason or another. While we're sitting on his window seat, I give him his phone that I borrowed (This particular phone has made an appearance in previous dreams, it's very large, about the size of my hand and its black and flat. It's a smartphone.) and go for a walk. Next thing I know we're in a tunnel, the kind of rounded half circle tunnels that go under roads and it's about half full of water and we're standing beside it. I look around and there are people panicking. People are saying "If I'm going to die I am going to do it this way." and jumping into the water in the tunnel. When I look outside the tunnel I see this massive body of moving water coming towards us in a wave. I know that this wave will kill me if I don't do something but I know I am a good swimming from lifeguarding and that I have good lung capacity. I jump into the water in the tunnel and try to get a couple good, big breaths before the wave hits.

When it hits it feels like my limbs should be being ripped away from my body, the pressure is so powerful. At this point I don't know where Kealin is and I seem to forget about him, knowing he's a lifeguard and would think to do the same.  All I focus on is getting myself into the self-help position - where you curl yourself into a ball and protect your arms with your head - and trying to keep my oxygen. This seems to go on for days.

When I come to and am out of The Wave, I am in a completely different place. I am out in the country and in some sort of flooded field. There are a few other teenagers/young adults with me including Rebecca, Samantha and for some reason or another Luke Eddington. There are others and I am not sure if Kealin is one of them or not, he could be. We vow to stick together until we find a place that The Wave didn't destroy so we help each other on to drier land and start walking/swimming. When we are coming down a hill to what seems to be the remainder of Walkerton when Luke finds this massive pile of fruit that we need to stock up on before we continue travelling. We cover the fruit with a large tarp that we find, not sure of what we are protecting them from - other scavengers, animals, weather? We continue down to the remains of the town and find Tina there with what seems to be her making Sunday breakfast for her Scouts (Bagels and cream cheese like always.) or if she's providing food for hungry survivors of The Wave. She gives us some food and some love and we decide that we need to keep going.

This is when stuff get's a bit sci-fi. I decide that that fruit isn't going to last us forever. So I go over to a device of some sort and decide that I am going to need to buy and animal to take with us that will provide us with ongoing food. What the portal tells me is that I can take this little fuzzy green animal with me and it will give me a certain amount of food a day, but if I evolve it using another animal than it will give me alot more food. My mom steps in to give me a hug and give me her advice on the animals and I go to pay for the animals and evolution with Glitch currents.

And then I wake up.
